EULA - End User License Agreement

License agreement

This license agreement is a legal agreement between you and Scientific Networks Software company concerning the Scientific Letter software product, including any storage media as well as any "built-in" or "electronic" documentation ("software"). The software also means any updates, web services, additional software and/or add-ons that can be provided or available to you from Scientific Networks Software company after purchasing the original software copy. By installing, copying, downloading, accessing or using this software in any other way, you agree to the terms and conditions of this license agreement. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this license agreement, you must not install or to use this software.

SOFTWARE LICENSE

I. Main terms and conditions

The software is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. This software is licensed but not sold.

It is allowed to install and to use one copy of the software on one computer, device, workstation, terminal or on some other digital electronic or analog device ("device"). The software license is indivisible.

All rights not granted in this license agreement are reserved by the Scientific Networks Software company.

II. Other rights and restrictions

The software uses a protection technology against unauthorized software copying. Unauthorized software copying or using any means to bypass the copying protection technology are illegal.

If the software is labeled "not for resale", this software may be used only for demo and evaluation purposes despite terms and conditions of other sections in this license agreement. Resale or any other commercial operations with the software are forbidden.

You may not perform reverse engineering or decompile the software except the cases and only to the degree explicitly allowed by the current legislation despite the restriction in the license agreement.

You may not take away any parts of the software for separate use on several devices.

This license agreement does not grant you any rights concerning any trademarks or service marks belonging to the Scientific Networks Software company.

You may not rent or lend this software, give it for temporary use or to use it for providing network services on the commercial basis.

The Scientific Networks Software company can provide you with the technical support of the Scientific Letter software ("technical support"). The rules of applying to and providing the technical support service are described at the software site. Any additional software provided to you as a means of technical support should be considered as the software component and thus fall under the terms and conditions of this license agreement. You accept and agree that the technical data that you send to the technical support service while applying may be used by the Scientific Networks Software company for the internal purposes including technical support and software development. The Scientific Networks Software company will not use the provided information in any form that can reveal your personal information.

If not mentioned otherwise in the current section, the initial license purchaser has the right to hand over this license agreement and the software directly to another user. This operation must include the entire software (including all modules, media and printed materials, any updates, this license agreement and the activation key). This operation should be carried out directly, without any intermediaries. The person obtaining the software as a result of such a one-time operation must agree to all the terms and conditions of this license agreement, including the obligation not to hand over this license agreement and the software to anyone else.

Reserving all its rights, the Scientific Networks Software company can terminate this license agreement in case you violate its terms and conditions. In case the license agreement is terminated, you must remove all your software copies and components.

III. Intellectual property copyrights

The legal title and entire intellectual property rights for the software (including all related graphic images, text and additional software), the contents of the accompanying printed materials as well as any software copies belong to the Scientific Networks Software company and its suppliers. The legal title and all intellectual property rights for the contents and related to it that are not a part of the software but accessed using the software belong to the owners of the copyright for this contents and are protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. This license agreement does not grant you any rights to use these contents. This software contains electronic documentation and you may print only one copy of this documentation.

1. Backup Copy

After you install one copy of the Scientific Letter software, you may save the original files in the form the Scientific Networks Software company provided them to you for the sole purpose of archiving and backing them up. You may not create copies of the software and accompanying printed documentation unless stated otherwise in the current license agreement.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

The limited warranty is a sole expressed warranty granted to you. As long as the current legilation permits, Scientific Networks Software and its suppliers provide the software and the support services "As is", with all its drawbacks and disclaim any other explicit, implicit or specified in the law warranties and conditions, including, but not limited to, the implicit warranty, liability or fitness for a particular purpose, reliability or the results of the use of the software, warranties concerning high qualification, absence of viruses and shortcomings in the development of the software, as well as providing or refusing any technical support services. Besides, any ownership rights, free use rights, correspondence to the description or the absence of the infringement of the intellectual property rights are not applied to this software.

3. Disclaimer of liability for damage

As long as the current legislation permits, Scientific Networks Software and its suppliers are no liable for any damage or losses (including, but not limited to the loss of business profits, breaks in commercial or manufacturing activity, health damages) caused due to the use or failure to use the software or due to providing of failing to provide the technical support services, as well as in case of the software failure, civil violation (including negligence), strict liability, violation of the agreement or violation of the warranty from the Scientific Networks Software company or its suppliers, even if the Scientific Networks Software company or any of its suppliers were informed about the possibility of such a damage of losses beforehand.

4. Limited liability for damages

The maximum amount the Scientific Networks Software company or any of its suppliers can be liable for in no event exceeds the amount you paid when purchasing the software. All the limitations, exceptions and disclaimers enumerated hereby will work within the greatest possible extent allowed by the current legislation no matter if the compensation covers the damages.

5. Agreement liability

This license agreement is an ultimate agreement between you and the Scientific Networks Software company regarding the software and technical support services (in case they are provided) and prevails over any oral or written agreements, proposals or claims regarding the software and any other terms of the current license agreement. In case of any contradictions between other software terms and the Scientific Networks Software company''s policy regarding providing technical support service and the terms of this license agreement, the latter has the prevalence.
